I have HO Express Loc 3039 which needs some replacement springs for the pantographs. (Purchased off of Ebay and it arrived with a couple missing.) I believe the pantograph is 7218, and the correct springs are E765600 ?? If so, there is a package currently for sale on Ebay at a very reasonable price, but the shipping cost is (IMO) ridiculous, as in more than $50, from Germany. I know, I know, how badly do I need the parts. I've tried using reverse unit and switch springs, but they don't seem to provide sufficient tension to give adequate upward force for good catenary contact. Any suggestions for alternate springs or if someone is willing to part with a couple would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

AJCKids in Texas can get them for you if you contact them with a specific request,. They have turned up some very scarce parts for me, although it can take a while for them to get into the US.

Your best bet would obviously be Ebay in the US but I find that some parts are just not available there. That is when I contact the super helpful folks at AJCKids, who take care of the hassle of getting them from Marklin and their shipping to me is very reasonable.
Regards,
Jim

I have almost all Märklin and mostly HO, although I do have a small number of Z gauge trains!
So many trains and so little time.

I've always thought these must be available somewhere else...see attached, am I getting close?

https://www.springsmfg.c...extension-springs-od2mm/

I'm working on a length of 10mm an outside diameter of the spring of 2mm and a guess at wire thickness. (for 7218)

If anyone has a definitive spec can you post it?

Yes, or you can call marklin USA and they will send it to you if you are in a rush.
