Very sad day, most of the victims were very young.
An outsider.
I'm looking for the owner of that horse. He's tall, blonde, he smokes a cigar, and he's a pig!

Very sorry to hear of another avoidable train disaster.

It just brings back memories of the Australian Sydney Granville train disaster, 83 dead (about 20 of those were guillotined due to bridge beam, at least they were lucky with a quick death), 213 injured.

https://en.m.wikipedia.o.../Granville_rail_disaster

My dad worked nearby but fortunately drove to work.

All because of lack of, firstly, lack of maintenance to the very extreme of just about everything for the government to save money, long term political white washing, and very poor bridge design.

Then there was extreme levels of coverup, and if that failed, buck passing.

Just horrible! The Grandville crash too. I read about it months ago when researching Sydney transit system. Wikipedia article says at least one car was crushed by the bridge and some victims died in hospital from crushing syndrome.
I suppose it's still much safer than driving. Especially since the cell phone and vehicle infotainment came.
