Thoroughly enjoyed seeing these photos of fabulous layouts that have detail without losing the bigger picture. Something I aspire to. Keeping the vision for the project focussed is my challenge. https://www.michael-robert-gauss.de/Seite1.htmIf you have anything along the same lines, feel free to post! Enjoy! |

Very nice details, thank's! A Pillentium video came up on my Google suggestion yesterday. It was also very nice. HO scale, 1950s-60's and all on one level, but worth a watch.

Sounds great Marklin Agent 5999 (aka Troy-resident-whose-name-I-know-not)...! I'm still not bored with 50s and 60s. If you can find the link in your history, feel free to post it. Those winter scenes are fabulous Jimmy, I do agree. I think it's rather difficult to get a really engaging look for winter without a few too many icicles or the wrong scale of snow. We tried once with some "Dollarama" snow on a temporary layout, and it really only achieved a toy-like look Christmas look. I now have a bunch of woodland scenics stuff I bought a few years ago for a winter scene but have only experimented doing a few trees with it.
