Joined: 17/02/2020(UTC) Posts: 2 Location: California		I have a marklin 60052 transformer for a Central Station 2. The back of the transformer says 230VAC in and 16 VAC out. Joined: 04/02/2011(UTC) Posts: 3,343 Location: Paris, France		Hi Juan Carlos Märklin users manual for the 60215 says Input voltage: min 14 VDC, max 24 VDC and 16VAC (typical? does not say) So in my opinion, such a transformer 60052 delivers 17 to 18 VAC meaning you are close to the maximum but this should be OK. One thing is sure, in Paris we have 237 VAC and I used the CS2 with a transformer there in the beginning. Note: I used an old PC 100W power supply (HP) with a 19 VDC delivery and the result was much better (no speed fluctuation any more caused by current variations (yes also with super duper MFX locos) The pin layout of the CS2 power connector is here https://www.pallund.dk/cs2.htm Now for many years I use a 60101 (100 W Märklin power supply) Much better. The voltage read from an idle transformer will always be higher than the nominal voltage. The 60215 manual reads: "Betreiben Sie das Steuergerät nie mit einer Nennspannung höher als 17 V (AC) bzw. 24 V (DC). Es kann sonst zu Schäden an Personen und/oder Sachen führen." Translation: Never feed the CS2 with nominal voltages above 17 V AC or 24 V DC. Your transformer has a nominal voltage of 16 V and there should be no problems even if the mains voltage goes up to 253 V. Did you measure the voltage of your transformer with the CS2 up and running?
