I have never bought any Rivarossi AC locomotives. Was looking at the HR2813 ACS set of twin BLS/SEZ Re4/4 locomotives. Does anyone out there have this set or other recent Rivarossi AC locomotives running on Marklin C-track?
Also wondering if these newer Rivarossi models come with many small parts that need to be added on, like for example, Roco models. Not a fan of having to add these, at times, microscopic bits.

I've had older analogue AC Rivarossi on M track I know that isn't relevant to your question but the fine details on the models was quite delicate...but they looked very good.

I have the BLS/BN Re 4/4 (425) set (HR2100 AC) from a few years back. The models seem ok. I was a little concerned with the quality of certain components and the set has not seen that much use, especially as I also have the BLS Re 4/4 (425)s from Roco and that BLS is not as much the focus of my collection as the SBB or SOB/BT are.

I think that one of my biggest concerns is that the new generation Rivarossi models still have the same plastic gearing issues as the older Lima/Rivarossi models did.

With the arrival of the Roco brownies, the Rivarossi models were downgraded to use with freight trains. With the arrival of the Vectrons and 186, their use has been limited even more
