I just tried to access the web page for the Wellington Marklin Club and got a DNS error claiming the site doesn't exist.

So I tried the Auckland Marklin Club web site, and ended up at Mini-KiwilandShop.

What has happened to the NZ web sites, got washed away with all the floods?

The website address i have for Auckland Club is http://www.marklin.org.nz/index.html and for Wellington Club is http://www.mmrc.org.nz/

These links have worked fine in the past.

I’ll fire off an email to our Auckland club. I know that there was talk of a club Facebook page, so they may have gone down that rabbit hole!

I haven’t been particularly active in the club in the last year or two, mostly due to being busy at work.

It would seem the club website for Auckland was not renewed by the webmaster. It may come back, but at this stage it is not available.

I suspect the MMRC site being down is due to the same reason. I have emailed Ian to bring it to his attention.

Hey Kiwis,

I'm wondering if there are any LGB owners in Auckland - if any.

Cheers,

I know of one person in the club with 1 gauge, but no LGB. But there used to be a garden railway club in the past. May be worth a google search.

Cheers…

Mike

There's certainly a Garden Railway club in Wellington who run LGB, so definitely look for one in Auckland.

Google search shows there is garden railway society in Auckland, but they only appear to operate on Facebook, so not accessible to normal folk

Hi Mike, all.
This thread is pretty ancient now, but I'm in the process of resurrecting the Auckland M Club website. There's still some work to be done on it, but it is alive now and can be found at https://aucklandmarklinclub.nz
cheers, Dennis
