What version is this Kroc?

Can anyone tell?

How much do the 3 little wheels missing detract from the value?

Thank you,

Bill

Hi Bill
According to my Kolls catalogue Band 1 1993 and what I see on your pictures
- type 4 "Wattchen" Pantographs
- button current pick'up
- Pantographs ressemble version 4.1
- rectangular wires around headlights

it could be a version 2 or 3

Further info to confirm

- if the colour is dark green, this is a version 2 (late 1947)
- If the colour is olive green then it is a type 3 (1948-1949)
On later version the current pick'up is a ski (around 1950-1951)
Cheers
Jean

Hi,
The locomotive looks like it is V2 or V3 with small sandboxes. It looks in very good condition but should be tested and reviewed. The missing parts are available in Germany it is not only the wheels but also the base of the front wheels since it looks that has zinkpest crack, but if the chasis of the locomotive is original with no zinkpest then you have one of the very few ones without big zinkpest problems.
With the new wheels a serius collector can pay a lot for it since it even has the box that looks original. There are many replicas of the box but if it is are original I have seen prices in ebay for a CCS800 that goes from 2.500 to 8.000 US$ or more for Version 2 or 3.

Regards

Hi
Bill looking more after 3015, / CCS800 spare parts, I found this set of wheels you might need

Just a matter of opinion, but having a complete locomotive increases its value drastically
