Hi
There are a few posts regarding UK repairs but nothing recent.
I am on the verge of sending some problem locos to Marklin in Germany but given the stories I’m reading about customs and delays, I thought I’d check if there is anyone in the UK currently doing repair work.
The work I need going involves decoder replacement and possibly conversion of some analog locos to digital.

I was looking for something on the uk ebay site and saw that a man was 'selling' a repair service. Apparently, if I remember correctly, you sent him an amount, (£30??) and a faulty piece of rolling stock. He would look at it and if it just needed a clean or similar, he would do that and then send the item back to you. If parts were needed, he would let you know and you could, if required, let him do the work. I think repair available on 2 rails such as British OO gauge models. Seller don't take 3 rails marklin? Worth ask seller a message first about Marklin? |
