How many of you do this way by control turnouts and the signals? |

I voted analog and digital.
But frankly, though I run a digital layout, I find the use of digital for signals and turnouts is not productive.
Because changing (when running 4 trains) to the accessory control screen is not productive when the push butttons are easily to hand.
I feel far more comfortable with the standard push-button controls.
Maybe that is because I have had to wire only 3 signals and 3 turnouts.
If I had more the use of digital instead of the wiring might be appealing.

M track turnouts and vintage signals with digital, via k83s. Turnouts show on CS3 and PC, with many automatically triggered by contact tracks. Signals for look, no power interruption. Too many devices for manual switching as automation mostly controls trains. |

My signal and turnouts are controlled electronically but my turnouts are also accessible via my ECoS (trackplan)., there are about 40 signals on our layout (they are connected to an electronic module which switches the light over with a delay and than connected to a braking module) and more to come, turnouts are controlled via a optocoupler module connected to a another optocoupler and than wired up to an ESU switch pilot module (a bit to complicated to explain)., our whole running of trains is controlled via opto couplers placed between sleepers and triggered by a reflective object such as a slider or with electric locos a white painted slider which is tucked in and doesn't touch the pukos.
