I'm sorry it took so long to get around to discussing these models, but I have had a lot of things on my plate.

A few months back, I was informed that the new LS Models SBB EWI WR Restaurant coaches would be released. I was very thrilled and confirmed my order for 4 of the models, which included the model in original red with pre-UIC markings, the model in red with UIC markings, as well as the 1990s Gray/Purple/White livery with "Buffet Suisse" and "Mitropa" inscriptions. I passed on the 1990s variant with "Calandaland" markings.
I am still waiting for the 1980s "Self Service" variant, but I already have this model from Piko (2020) as well as the "Chäs Express" variant.

The original Era III livery fits with any international train of the era, as well as with most Swiss Fast Trains and City Fast Trains.

The Era IV version with UIC markings can be used on international trains, but will probably run with a mixed consist of EWI, EWII, Lightsteel and RIC coaches.

The 1990s Buffet Suisse and Mitropa coaches will probably run with a mix of coaches of the Eurofima, RIC and EC types. For international traffic outside of Switzerland, only the EWIII and EWIV Prototype Restaurant coaches were used, but the EWIs saw use between Swiss border points and domestic destinations.

I will try to post some of my own consist photos in this topic soon.

Models are available at Reisezugwagen.eu, Eyro.ch and certain versions in stock at tee-usa.com

I understand that the AC version has a slider but not connected to anything. Is this right?
These coaches are available in many shops in Europe, also in Italy.

I have not opened my model, but my understanding was that models preordered as AC were delivered with AC Wheelsets and with a Flusterschleifer wired to the interior for simplified connection to decoder and LED lighting strips. If you need more info, I can scan the paperwork that comes with the model.
