I saw the BNSF logo on the car. Given the current supply chain problems, they were maybe trying to use a shortcut in order to load more cars faster. Safety First!

There is now an ICE with an all-female crew in Germany. I guess this is a one-time marketing gig to attract the attention of potential female applicants:

I assume men and those of any other gender were able to get tickets for the train if it was a normal time-tabled service.

...as for obscure news of (little) women in the news, we had our own private team of our all girl Lokführerin / Engineers in the news just before they all started to become teens with mostly other interests. That said, they do poke their heads into the train room and check on new progress.

Probably seen my brag about them before but here they are at work on the Mädchenbahn...

In single point perspective, where do track lines meet?

On the site of the Karl Höffkes agency, which claims to own the world's largest stock of privately shot films from 1900 to 1945, there are two films by Walther Bever-Mohr documenting his own large Märklin 0-scale layout - see links:

Walther Bever-Mohr (1901-1955) was a German film amateur and president of the Association of German Film Amateurs (BDFA) from 1952 to 1955, whose privately shot films were shown internationally before and after 1945 and won awards.
