A large layout is being created in Slovenia, the experienced modeler Tina started it in 2015
UserPostedImage
It all started with construction work in one attic
UserPostedImage
Everything was thought of in advance
UserPostedImage
UserPostedImage
The layout base must be solid and have access from below in any place
UserPostedImageUserPostedImageUserPostedImage
It will have openings in several places so that any place on the layout can be reached from below
UserPostedImage
Numerous ribs were made to make the mountains

Laying of the track has started, the most flexible K rails are used
UserPostedImage
The one-track mountain railway is very winding, but when the relief comes, it will not look excessive
UserPostedImageUserPostedImageUserPostedImageUserPostedImage
There will be 6 stations + 2 hidden on the layout
UserPostedImageUserPostedImage
Here the track will be leveled later

Thank you, when there is enough space to make a layout that looks more realistic success cannot be missed. Unfortunately, we often fill the layout with too many tracks, the settlements are overcrowded with buildings and the mountains are too small? We make concentrates of some reality and we don't stick to that good saying - less is more!

The difference between unpainted and patinated rails can be clearly seen here

Slovenia is a small country fortunately quite far from the risk area (as is Croatia). However, if that lunatic uses nuclear weapons, the population of the entire planet will feel the consequences for a long time to come!
No one would expect in the 21st century that such a war is possible and yet it has happened and unfortunately its end is not in sight?
There are still atavistic instincts to kill in the human race, the problem is that weapons have progressed from the stone ax to the atomic bomb.

Thanks on behalf of the author who luckily has enough space to be able to make nature look more realistic
UserPostedImageUserPostedImageUserPostedImage
In some places he used natural materials such as stones
UserPostedImageUserPostedImageUserPostedImage
He started making the cell hall from plywood, veneer and slats
UserPostedImageUserPostedImage
The railway has a safety fence in all hidden parts

For a long time, Mr. Tine has not published a continuation of the work on the layout, but now the time is coming when he stays in the house more, so I hope for continuations?
Mr. Tine also has his website at https://miniaturna-zeleznica.eu/
