In the past forum members mailed their Mobile Stations around to get the update done by a forum member. Another option was shown here: https://www.marklin-user...ia-internet---interested |

Although not the latest version, MS2 SW v3.55 is still great as it gives you access to the full range of 32 functions (providing that loco or accessory has that many of course). There is a minor inconvenience that you have to learn the technique of pressing the SHIFT key in the right sequence: once to display functions 9-16, twice to display 17-24 and three times to display 25-32. The latest software, v3.121, has the improvement that each single press of the SHIFT key moves the display onto the next range of functions. Much easier to operate. As Tom (HO) points out above, you can update your MS2 by plugging it into the second socket of the track box with an up to date MS2 plugged into the first socket. Remember though that your track box will first need to be updated before it will work with v3.55 or higher. When the latest version MS2 is plugged into the track box, it detects the version loaded and offers the option of updating it. Hopefully one of the Forum's members in London might be able to help.
