Hello,

I was about to buy the umbauwagens 43195, 43185 & 43174 but then I noticed there isn't a DB logo or destination signs in the pictures on marklin.de. Do these wagons come with decals? It just seems there should be a DB logo in the middle of the wagons. The older version umbau (for example 4067, 4079 & 4087) have the DB logo and destination signs printed from factory. I prefer the factory printed logo/signs as they are better quality than any decal I can apply.

Any comments or ideas why that's missing?

TIA

Yes, they have seperate destination decals for the sides. I guess these being the first run of postwar DB rebuild cars, they didn't have DB logos. The matching 39380 br 38 does does say Duetsche Bundebahn in print, but no logo either. I have two of the three sets. They are nice.

Thank you for the reply. I didn't notice that my E 132 also does not have the DB logo. So that should match too. I was going to pull the umbau wagons with the E 132, similar to the pictures of E 32 and E 132 on this webpage: http://www.wehratalbahn.de/Betrieb/Betrieb.htm

No.
The end of third class came about the same time as the introduction of the DB logo.

It would be odd to have the DB logo on these 3rd class coaches.
If you model a period with DB logo then those 3rd class coaches are not the best possible choice.

Tom
