I am new to using LEDs on my layout and need some advice. I would like to use my old Marklin transformers as the power source (16-17 VAC) for all the lighting on the layout (none train items). So, I don't know what types, voltage LEDs I should get and how to connect to the 16 VAC (if even possible). I have read about transformers, rectifiers and diodes but really could use a tutorial to get me going. Any tips and tricks would be appreciated! Thank you.
