Joined: 04/02/2011(UTC) Posts: 3,114 Location: Paris, France		Hi No if you talk about E117993 Märklin Telex NEM couplings. They keep on losing cars. They are excellent with Märklin KK (Short couplings). My advice is for you to convert all your cars and locos to new couplings Cheers Jean

But the nem 360 couplers that come with other makers can vary quite a lot in shape and size, and quality, and also the socket height can vary slightly so that coupling and uncoupling can be hit and miss.

One feightcar in a 10 foot long train let go a while back. Half rolled back down off a bridge and crashed. I found every piece that came off cars on the floor with a light.
