Joined: 25/06/2021(UTC) Posts: 3 Location: Texas, League City		Top hatches on tender that can swing open came loose. Attempting to re-set the hinge pins back in the sockets. What is the trick to getting them back in?

To know your first name would be better Well the doors on the tender can rotate but are not made for intensive use. On my 3797 loco it looks like the door axles are pinched between 2 plastic hooks in the tender housing I recommend not to try to move them as I had some difficulties (e.g. the snow plow). Here the 26830 (1998) and in red frames the "plastic hinges" They are very fragile I hope this helps Jean
