Who will it be, commerical made or someones kit bashing effort. Obviously not 1001 cars long, but the engine and front few cars to give the effect. Would make an interesting model to say the least. Beyond my modeling abilities to custom build. Mike

Marklin does a great job with diecasting and plastic molding of streamlined engines in HO scale. They could do a really nice job on model of this. Even offer more add on cars to extend the train longer so one can wrap it around their layout.

I would place my pre order if Marklin announced it. Be totally awsome if it was done in diecast, at least the locomotive portion. Gotta have the weight to punch thru that snow.

I agree. It's an awesome idea.

It'd be awesome with a sci-fi line from Märklin. Tre train from Final a fantasy VII, VIII and Resident Evil 2.

I would imagine if anybody was going to do a model of this it would be Lionel in America since they have a history of doing film and event related models. It would of course be in American "O" gauge 1/48 scale.

I would think it would be Bachmann. They have a history of making holiday and other special interest trains. They also have a more global market focus than Marklin. They'll need that to get enough sales to make a profit from a niche product.

It does resemble PRR Sharknose. Boweser makes one of those.

Seems like Marklin's Alpha range was ahead of it's time definitely had elements of steampunk, whereas Hornby's Steampunk range is fairly new I believe.
Must build something

Marklin has quite the world wide reach, they are the oldest model train company in the world, besides Lionel. To me Marklin could do it the best and in nice heavy diecast metal. The company with probably the most streamlined/bullet trains is Kato in N scale. They pretty much have done everything out there from the TGV to the bullet trains in their native market of Japan. Just all in N scale which is the predominate modeling scale in Japan. Mike

In my opinion it is just not going to happen. No company is going to be stuck with molds that are useless for anything else in a couple years. Maybe some one will offer 3D prints to mount on some companies running gear.

Sounds like a Richard Bramson rendition of a Space X train or Elon Musk's tunnel bullet above ground, but like an X men plane or Wonder woman's.
In fairness, to me the Snowpiercer resemble a likeness to a PRR sharknose.

I wonder if this year’s surprise model will be a American stream line steam loco. They have not done anything this year I believe for the US outline. So could it be a least for the US? 🤓🤔
