Jonas, you shouldn't need to. If the coupler guide plate doesn't seat tightly with the body on, I would first try a thin shim over it. Even cardboard if you don't have a thin sheet of plastic. You shouldn't even need to do that. What gives with Marklin at times?
My #36182 Vectron out of the box first run, a cardan shaft dislodged under a train load. The bogie with the traction tire, as the other's wheels spun.
