It seems few members in this forum to have discussed this new model. I got mine 2 days ago and would like to share this with you.

I have to say this model is really worth 3 thumb up ThumpUp ThumpUp ThumpUp .

Regardless of details, sound effect and running characteristic, Marklin definitely did a great job.

This model is not as heavy as others Marklin ever made, but the body, chassis is mode of metal as other steamers.

Rich details with pipes and handrails, mostly made by plastics except for few metal handrails.

I''m impressive by the red marker light in the rear of locomotive which is rare to see the function in the steamer of Marklin

Mine arrived a couple of weeks ago, and so far I have been very pleased, but I am running ERA V/VI scenario at the moments so just a few movements and then back in its box.

I did see a review showing that this model had much less metal than its predecessor, progress I suppose!

Thanks for your reminding, I found it not broken but losing the spare part of brake plate compared to the other side.. Precisely speaking, the employee in factory responsible for assembling the model could forget to put it into the chassis.Blink as the pictures were taken immediately when I received the model and took it out from box At that moment I didn't see any spare part dropped.

Ignoring it may make me feel betterLaugh

I totally agree, but I wish Marlin never give up it's principle
1. Metal body
2. Boiler driving for steamer
3. Pantograph capable of taking power from catenary even though Marlin is gradually eliminating the function on electric locomotive ThumbDown
