Still very much in the learning mode.

Interested in other brands of locos and cars to use on my c-track. Have looked at Roco and Brawa for locos and see that can sort by 3-rail (for Marklin) for the locos. Understand the AC vs DC thing. What about the non-powered cars, still need to look for 3-rail vs 2-rail?

Right now just have the Era III steamer that came with Marklin starter set. Want to add a diesel and then some passenger cars. Have the starter set freight cars. Layout is just on 4 x 8 sheet, so don't want to get too crazy with rolling stock collection, at this time.

Comments greatly appreciated.

Hello,
If you do buy 2 rail rolling stock and it gives trouble on C track, you can always buy the compatible Märklin wheels.
That's what I do.

Kimball
HO Scale - Märklin (ep II-III and VI, C Track, digital) - 2 rail HO (Queensland Australia, UK, USA) - 3 rail OO (English Hornby Dublo) - old clockwork O gauge - Live Steam 90mm (3.1/2 inch) gauge.
