Hello,
I have sold my old M-track turntable, but fancied getting a new one for the emerging c-track layout. However, it is sooo expensive, and I am not even sure my Intellibox will be able to manage it.
Are there other brands that work with Marklin? Or do I have my Christmas wish from my understanding family?

Check eBay for the k track turntable and use adapter tracks if you are running c track or m track.
Also you could look at Fleischmann turntables, they made the k track one for Märklin, and there AC versions available under their one branding.
