Anyone knows if the real Zeppelin has the red marker light as modeled in Marklin 2021 new item? If so where is the marker light?

I am also pretty sure that it was not intended to run backwards - hence no red lights in the headlamps..

Hi All,

I added a red LED to the rear of the 3477 Zeppelin which looks great see my article below

Having fun with the hobby.

It seems there was an auxiliary engine for shunting, so slow movements in reverse were possible.

Märklin made a correct no-bogie version in Z scale. Later the prototype had a single bogie, but Märklin never made that configuration. Märklin's two-bogie configuration had no prototype in real life.

@QQQ70 and Tom. Thank you for your answers. I saw the Marklin video of new products and the new Zeppelin is identical, externally, to the previous one so I will not buy it. :-)
someone classified these objects as 'expensive rubbish' and, in this case, I agree

I bought the Schienenzeppelin from Märklin - I got the version with two axles and the version with four axles.

I have seen a propeller-driven G gauge model in the past. I accept that mine are driven by electric motors that drive the wheels and I also accept that the H0 model does not have the correct axle configuration. Compromises, but the models are not rubbish for me.
