Has anyone got lsmodels coaches and run them on Marklin k track? The coaches look excellent, but I fear the will derail on Marklin k track. Any advice would be welcome 🙏 Dan |

Although I dont have anything from LS-Models, I do have rolling stock from many different brands. K-track makes for excellent running. If the coaches are equipped with AC_wheels, you will have no problems.
In any case, I have many waggons with DC-wheels (which I have pressed to 13,9mm) and they all work flawlessly (On 2200-series K-track)

I have a few LS Models coaches. The most with AC wheels and runs well in K track. The coaches with DC wheels also run well in K track. Share this video with one of my trains: |

I have quite a few LSM products, including SBB, OBB, DB and CNL models. I have equipped them with Roco's Universal Couplers and some with AC Wheelsets and have had no issues with K or C Track. Some models, due to their length, may have issues on R1 or R2, especially if signals or catenary are mounted close to the track.

Mike C Hi, thanks for the reply. Is that the only issue with radius? The coaches being of scale length? And do they come with ac wheel sets or can you order with them? Thanks Dan |

I have the LS SNCF Nord set, and a CIWL restaurant car. I got them to go with the 241 some time ago. They had trouble on my C track, particularly on switches, passing an S bend to go an a parallel track. Following advice from Mike c, and others, I got the Rocco Universal Couplers. Dr. Eisenbahn, Jacques, took the wheel sets and pressed the wheel sets. They work beautifully. They are very detailed, and delicate coaches. Notwithstanding my best efforts they have lost a buffer here and there before I did the modifications.
I unthinking of getting some SNCB coaches to go with the SNCB 01 class what it arrives.
