This is my first post on this forum so - hello everyone and welcome to my build-log BigGrin

My name is Michal and i am from Poland.
My first build was a ship

The tram is my second build.
I married my wife in 2013 Love and as our Honey-Moon we went to Mallorca.
There we was on the trip to Soller with this tram. On top of that - the year 2013 was the 100th year of this tram (build in 1913)!

So my choice for the next build was pretty easy Cool

Ok, here are some pics and the build status:

1/24-scale is rather unusual in "normal" model train operation.
Looks like a real challenge with all those parts, and needs a skilled model builder.

Hi volks!

Thanks for response ThumpUp

The project is not going under - actually i make some more steps in the last few weeks (i post the results pictures later)

But there was a stupid mistake that i made. After the parts drys out and before i was going to glueing all togehter... i looked at the chairs and find out, that the edges shoud be painted black for more contrast to the gold accents later on.
So i took the chair-plates together and make it stable with a clamb (stocked one on the other). I painted all at once - few hours later i was suprised, that it sticked together and offcourse the black paint dont stay only on the edges Scared
I tried to rescure the plates with some polishing to remove the black paint but it just saw terrible ThumbDown I was so angry because i spend 2 fully days on it to make it perfect. And i was so proud that i did it, but...
So i deicided to make all the work once again - i polished all chair-plates down as possible to not see the black paint on it.
Now, after makeing all once again, its dont look so clean as "new", but hey - it is used for passengers BigGrin

To close this theme - after all i find out, that for the edges i just could use a black marker... Blushing
