Is the Marklin 960041 which has a switch selectable output of either 15 or 19 Volts, be used with Central Station? If so would you recommend 15 or 19 setting?
Thanks, Jack

Specs for the 60041, which you likely have, which is for the Marklin CS
Adjustable output voltage: 15 V: Minitrix (N scale) 19 V: Märklin H0 / Trix H0 |

Don TY. I have HO, so I will use 19V output to Central Station. I will need to replace plug to accommodate unit.

Hi, do you have the 60121 CS? If you have then there is a reason why the plug does not fitt. 60121 require AC power, and 60041 supplies DC. 60052 / 60055 can be used with 60121. (Some older ones can also be used)

(Some older ones can also be used) I presume this is a typo and it is meant to refer to the 60212 (known by some as a CS-1 once the 60213 came out)) If so, it is not correct that this unit "requires" AC. e.g. it uses the same barrel plug as used with the power supply that comes with a mobile station (original = ms1 60651/2 of the same era = cica 2004[5/6]) and this will work fine up to 1 amp (approx.). This power supply #66181 provides 18V @ 18VA Note also , the 960041 ( used in the 6004x range of offerings) is a Power Supply not a transformer |

So if Sidebandjack has purchased a 60041 and expecting an AC transformer, because of the marklin typo. He could be in for a surprise. sorry for the confusion.

The 60212 CS1 can work with either an AC transformer such as 60052 or a DC power supply such as the 66361 36va power pack.
