Hello everyone I have a question re: the above usage of these transformers. I'm looking to see if they are suitable for powering a standard Hornby 2 rail type DC small layout?
Cheers Shannon

The output of transformers is always AC. Extra parts are needed to operate a DC layout. And the reversing voltage could fry analogue DC locos. Better get a suitable DC controller. |
