I have decided for my first proper layout I am going to model the Scottish Highlands in a kind of abstract way. I will model buildings from all over the region and kind of mix and match rather than go for historical accuracy.

So far, I have made Glenlivet Post Office (above) and below I have started Dalmally Station and signal box.

These are plasticard models with some 3D printed elements, mostly the windows and doors.

I am very fortunate to live in a beautiful part of the world.

Nice models, nicely done.

What a fantastic museum. I must visit one day. Such skill and so well presented. I have been taking the virtual tour since you posted the link.

Wow! Those are amazing! And despite your modesty, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the painting of those.

Cheers

Love these.
I too am a Scottish z gauge modeller based in Dundee.
Wish I had your skills. I have been buying British Diesels and carriages from shape ways. I'm planning to model some local but closed lines from the late sixties.
I am modifying some marklin stuff to Scottish-ifie it
Kind regards
Howard
