Here the last version of the shield/snowplow of the Ae 6/6.
After the first test (published in FB) I add some detail, and now the pipes are included in the main print.
No holes, a part the hook, necessary.
I'm very happy now BigGrin

Nicely done.
Have you gotten around to replacing any of the green tinted windows with the clear ones from the 29850 (green) or 39361 (red)?

I have the parts but have not gotten around to installing the new windows yet.

I am also thinking about swapping out the pantographs on some of my Era IV models with the grey ones from the 37045 Re 4/4I.

Regards

I enjoy designing and building them, but thinking about doing them every day is a nightmare Laugh

maybe a few more pieces will be done for friends, but I don't promise anything.

Very nice! 3D printing at that level of details is a performance in itself!
Would you consider sharing the file?

Thanks for your comments friends,
I have a 3D printer not much expensive, and this mean a lot of tolerance between what you draw and what you get from the printer.
This problem there is when you have a defined measure to respect. 1 or 2 mm. more large or long is normal.
This mean that you must spend a lot of time for a perfect project, and more over in adapt it to the prints step by step.
Sharing the stl file mean have problems due to the different behaviour of the various printers.
In the next weeks (not in a hurry Cool ) I'll print some pieces for friends, if you are interested send me a pm.

Thanks for the explanations.
I'm seriously interested in this subject, but know practically nothing.
Although I understand perfectly what you say about the tolerances, what I would like to know is this;
When the designed project comes out maybe 1mm longer than wanted, does that mean that printing the same project on the same printer (and with the same material), the result will ALWAYS be this 1mm longer, or does the finished product vary from printing to printing?

Best regards

The result is the same, when you have defined the correct measure you can print all the items you need.
My printer is a Anycubic Photon S LCD resin, if you want more precision is better a laser printer, 3000 instead of 300 euro Crying
