[:p]Their beautifull ET11 back![:p]

Thei U-boat transport on page 22 is fun too. Cant imagine they'd transport their torpedoes like that though.

Has anyone spotted their pricelist?

Just because of the limits of my English : what do you understand / what do they mean , by " drive unit in tender" , is it the motor which is inside the tender ? Is it the electronics ?

Both Hornby and Fleischmann at some stage in their model releases over the past 30 years, put the motor and drive train in the tender, and the tender wheels were powered. The locomotive driving wheels ran freely with no driven connection.
The concept worked quite well in my opinion.
Although it was strange to hear the motor going on a grade, tender wheels slipping, and no movement in the driving wheels!

Thank you very much.
So "drive units" concerns "motor" ( not "electronics")

Yes I know the principle of motorized tender .

Does somebody has experience with Lilliput?

How is their driving performance (of Lilliput)when compared with Marklin 5 star and SDS Sinus??

What Decoders do they use? ESU?

My experience of Liliput is limited to one of their HOe locos, but on that one performance is superb. It's very quiet, smooth, doesn't wobble and will run at a prototypical speed. It won't pull much but it's a model of a loco which is famed for its low haulage abilities, so it's realistic there too!

Assuming that they are mostly like their Bachmann OO sisters, a good one is a superb loco but you should try to buy in a shop so that you can see it running before buying. I have never had any problems with the Bachmann diesels but they seem to have a minor problem with anything with coupling rods - I had two steamers which both needed some adjustment to the quartering to make them run smoothly.

Oooh, epII the Br71 looks nice! I can think of using this as a shunter, pulling the U-boat set into a harbour scene...

Don't let the torpedo roll off the wagon!biggrin

@ WelshMatt: what can you tell about the general pulling capacity? And what decoders does Lilliput use? ESU LP3?

I'm not sure what decoders they use, as the one loco I have didn't come with one. It'll pull a scale length train without any trouble.

I would suspect that they will have generic decoders, but I'm not sure. Bachmann have their own DCC-compliant digital system, for which they worked with Lenz for the first generation and ESU for the current one.
