There was some suggestion previously that there would be no Summer New Items from Marklin, but there has been the release of new items from LGB

I like the Marklin Store Vectron and the Marklin branded container wagons. Just got to find someone who can get them from the Marklin Store......

For a moment there I thought there was going to be a BR290 in the older red/brown colour, then I realised it's a Minitrix item.

That 46167 Knorr wagon is nice, I might get that. I also fancy the Br175 37489. I love the rod coupled electrics and I've never been able to get my hands on this type.

Most of the rest of the new items are already in my collection in some form.

Knorr sell condiments and food additives (I think).
A bit like Maggi.

Hi David,
My Märklin dealer in Brisbane (Nathans Trains) was able to get me a Märklin Store item (39555 steam engine) a few years ago.

Huebner? in Aachen sell Marklin Store items. I got the G2000 and associated wagon there a couple of years ago.

I got the G2000 and container wagons from Joes when in Frickenhausen last September. Maybe Joachim can also get them.

It's Huenerbein in Aachen. Kurt and Michael and many colleagues. My main dealer for over 30 years. Highly recommended.

AllAboard just south of Sydney NSW told me they're able to supply the exclusives, so I've used them to order my first new Maerklin loco in 4 years!

Oh wow, they've re-done the BR38.10 (P8) again!

I would imagine they're using the motor/drive train from the 2012 revision though.

No doubt I'll end up having it in my collection to add to my list of era3a P8's.

I got the impression that you could get the Marklin Vectron and container wagon on line from the Marklin Store in Stuttgart but they are not in stock yet. I may get there in person by the end of the year.

This is true, but in the catalogue is printed:

"Special model - only available in Märklin stores (D: Mainz, Essen,
Stuttgart, Neustadt/Donau, Mühlheim/Main, München, Hamburg.
NL: Utrecht. IT: Bergamo. JP: Osaka

But these are not all Maerklin stores at all.

P.S.: Is not Osaka too far away from NZ?Laugh

But this Märklin store in Mühlheim/Main (it is pretty close to Frankfurt/Main)

https://www.maerklinstore-muehlheim.de/

offers not only the new Maerklin model 36161. Also it offers: "worldwide shipping is possible on request".
