Hello Friends,

I am posting today with a heavy heart. I have fallen out of love with the hobby and have decided to turn my attention to something else. I therefore wish to explore the option of finding a good home for my rolling stock and partially finished layout.

With regards to the rolling stock please see the attached excel file (3rail/Marklin/AC). As for the layout (2.4x1.2m dog leg) also please see the attached photos.

If there is someone who is interested, or one of you might know of someone or a club interested in purchasing all items please send me a private message for further details.

Kind Regards
David

Hi David,
I think many of us wax and wane in the hobby over decades.Sad I can recall
having a 3 year "absence" in the early 1990's before the passion rekindled.
May I respectfully recommend you keep your stuff - put it in the attic for a while.
Quite a few folk see an enthusiastic resurrection of interest in due course, then
it is nice to still have the beginnings.
Regards,
PJSmile

very fine work, seldom seen so well done.

It would help us if you gave us a clue as to which continent you are on though.

Don't sale. I lost the fun during the late 90's and started to do other things and sold some of my models in 12/2018 however, now I am back, enjoying it and looking to build my layout.

It looks like Peco centre stud strip to me, and I expect Peco track as well.

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for the kind words.

To reply to DaleShultz, the layout and about half of the stock is located in Singapore, the other half in Malta.

As for the query on the track, the straight and curved track is all Peco Streamline flextrack code 83 with Peco centre studs. The point work is all code 83 hand built with accessories from Fast Tracks. Also, the point work is driven by servos controlled by MegaPoints Controllers Servo Controllers and has custom designed PCB modules to handle the polarization of the rails over which the pick-up slider travels.

Kind Regards
David
