Interesting presentation,in a way.
Catalogue picture shows locomotive with only five drive wheels under the boiler,no bogie in front.
Text says wheels in bogie are of the disc type (as compared to the spoked type).
So,where did it go?
Was it erased in a photoshop application or was it simply not there when the model was photographed?

Never seen this before. Well, these are the secret new "Rail clearance devices with large scoops." as it is reported in the catalogue and Maerklin database.  But only shown in the database picture. https://www.maerklin.de/...s/details/article/39045/
