Hi all, Happy New Year and all that.

During a tidy-up I came across something I've had for years and years but I just can't tell what it's intended for but I'm assuming possibly a coach interior lighting kit?

It will have come to me with some other items but I've never seen one before and while it is very well-made, I don't recognise it from any Märklin item, although it could be a third-party brand designed 'for' Märklin.

Has anyone seen anything similar?

The fittings, nuts and thumb-screws are tin and brass, nicely machined and stamped so it would appear to be a professionally-produced item rather than something home-made.

Possibly old Trix, maybe Fleischmann, Hornby etc? It's about 13cm length bulb to bulb and lights from 12-16v, but there are no markings that I can see.

I'd love to know what it was intended to fit. Perhaps someone here may have seen similar?

Thanks

Cookee
