This would make a nice model. Roco and/or Maerklin, are you listening?
This livery promotes the new schedule between Zurich and Muenchen/Monaco/that Bavarian City

marklin-users.net is my favorite url, too!BigGrin

This livery would indeed make a great model.

AFAIR, the Zürich-München trip now requires over 4 hrs, and the track near Lindau is currently being updated to accommodate 160 km/h for "Neigetechnikzüge".
Does that suggest that the Re 421 only bears the announcement but will be discontinued for the actual Zürich-München EC?

The above have handrail on front but removed handrail on corner of cabs. Re 421 didn’t get immediately the DBAG pantograph, and were then initially not allowed to run in Germany.

Loco 421 379-9 and Swiss Express 11109 and Churchill Red Arrow at Zürich HB

Some of Class Re421,420 and 430 have been stored and a number have also been scrapped.
421 379-9 is seen taking out an ÖBB Nightjet which has come in with Swiss Express 11109 still in Grey and Orange.
11109 then takes out another ÖBB Nightjet.
Churchhill Red Arrow is near the end of the youtube video as it arrives then departs.

Thanks for the video link. I'm a sucker for blue coloured SBB Loks. They should have more of them.

There were only a few which did not initially receive a pantograph for the German/Austrian network. This was so that SBB Cargo could put them into use domestically while waiting for approval to operate in Germany. Once the Re 421 was authorized for use in Germany, the new pantographs were retrofitted and these loks went into international service alongside the rest of them.
