I am a new member of this forum but I have been a Marklin trains collector And enthusiast for many years and have over 100 locomotives mostly from the old times non digital. Are there any good Marklin shows to go in the US? I need to learn and update myself on digital controllers that I know nothing about them and I would like to build a layout all digitally controlled. I live in Cincinnati and I wonder if there’s someone that can teach me how to get into this.

Welcome, welcome!  Here is a good place to start for specific European Shows: http://ete.org/ They put on 2 EuroShows per year, "East" and "West". There are also local chapters in some areas. They seem like a good group. And there are many many folks here to help with any questions you may have.  Jimmy |

I can speak for the EuroWest show. I have been going since they started at a Beer distributor warehouse south of San Francisco, it is now at the Air Museum in San Bruno. Anyway, it is a great event. Lots of vendors, lots of people that know almost anything you need to know about European Trains and digital or analogue operation. You can't find a better selection of Marklin stuff either and the prices are great. In fact, even though I know live in the Midwest I am thinking about traveling back to San Francisco this summer for the show.
I can't speak to the East Coast event but I have heard good things about it also.

Sorry the little blurb of characters above is from my daughter who also wanted to say something. Ironically she has been attending EuroWest since she was in her Mom's belly, so she has some experience with the show as well.
