Finished up the Kibri 39477 Signal Tower.

Nice kit with clean parts. Overall went together nicely. The roof was a little fiddly to line up and attach. The pins and connectors are so tight it took some "gentle persuasion" to fix it into place. In hindsight I should have trimmed the pins down.

The plastic was colored so I just weathered her up nicely and called it a day.

I'll put a name on the board at a latter date.

The base has molded ground detail but I left if alone for now. I'll finish it latter when the tower is located into the landscape on my not-complete layout!

Hi Ken,
Thanks for the kit review.
Very nicely photographed too.

Nice Job. I find that not often will pins fit the holes in Kibri kits and I usually make the hole slightly bigger.
You could add a working light in place of the plastic one which looks good at night.
Take care I like Marklin and will defend the worlds greatest model rail manufacturer.

As currently available german made lamps are slightly bigger than required for 1:87 scale, I advise to use Aneste lamps, in N scale, made in Spain, and very good looking. Best regards!Kibri Signal Tower.jpg

Hi Luis,
Oh dear I thought I was looking at a photo of the real thing.

.... just a model however.
Thank you for the beautiful photograph and the tip on the lighting.
