More like shrinkapocket, those are going to need some drying out and major maintenance before going back into service. The item I heard was that each train is worth something like 29 million pounds sterling. May have been the BBC exaggerating for effect, but somehow I suspect it is not too far off the mark.

Well at least it is mostly freshwater. New carpet and seats and a a rinse out and some lubrication and hopefully much of it is repairable.

They should have held the series in Australia.. We never let a little bit of water like that interfere with our football matches.. LOL

And we nearly always win those matches as the other side worries about what else is swimming in the water. Huh

Only looking at these pictures, I guess these trains are scrap only. It is the complete interior damaged, all electronics, trafos, engines, almost everything what a train makes a train.

BTW, meanwhile it is reported that 50 people died becuase of this taifun.

That's what was meant, missed a word in the translation. Taifun is German for typhoon (even sounds the same) and has nothing at all to do with "fun."

Cheers,

Harold.

This is where the spelling above [ Taifun ] is proved correct.

Ps. cottoned on to this because one of my customers told me his email address this morning and it had ME108 embedded in it. He has this because he owns one.
