Can someone please explain how to remove the rail joiners from K track without destroying the rail joiner and my fingers.

Thanks in advance

Slide a stanly knife blade in one side and gently open the rail joiner up enough to loosen it so it can be removed. If you are careful it should be able to be squeezed back up afterward to be re-used.

Thanks for the tip. Luckily I had a band-aid on my finger when the Stanley knife slipped. I'll just rip the joiners off and throw them away - a lot less painful. BigGrin BigGrin

I use a pair of needle nose pliers. Slide it into the end and bend the sides outwards, then slide it off. Safe and easy.

As you've already gone down that track with a stanley knife I would have recommended a screwdriver and open up the track joiner on both sides but this doesn't mean it will freely come out, on the bottom there is an indent and this stops the joiner from moving forwards or backwards and by lifting up the track you will be able to remove it without getting your finger(s) cut off.

A dedicated pair of needle-nose pliers where the tip is small enough (and serrated) to insert into the end of the rail-joiner so you can pull it off.
