I have just purchased some second-hand M track electric turnovers (points). I do not have a manual for them, or any instructions.

Can anyone help me with instructions on how to wire them in, or if there is a manual available online?

Thanks for any help.

Hello, it is quiet easy to wire them in.

Yellow gos to the Light output of the analog trafo. and the two blues to a switchbox. It is a bit trial and error to see wich wire of the two is which setting.

A few more brochures about digital and a analogue service manual. But many points inside the manual are still valid today. The advantage is all are in English too.

Some more links to older manuals made for M-tracks. Some are in English too.

Best not to confuse the issue at hand with the posting of lots of irrelevant links.

The others may be of some use, as will this booklet from Eckert Engineering (which I have posted before)

Well BDNZ, I do have M-tracks myself beside my C-tracks and I use both manuals for wiring digital and/or analogue. But the manual shows the differences (which are sometimes not to big) and chances between the different tracks and cabling. And yes I also added the old service and signal manuals as well, not only for wiring of a turnout, just to show more about the need for a MRR, even it is not asked for.

I think to give asking people a wider and more broadly overview about the MRR possibilities today. There more and more questions arises in the style "I am new and what is digital" I guess, it is necessary informing people more than just for a turnout wiring. Especially these brochures are written in English.

Put it that way: it is an addition to your setted links, which are indeed always helpful and informative.Smile
