In analog school, inside a loco you have already had installed orange lights , too...just change the volume of the voltage you get different colours as well... About the bogies you must have a lot better info than me...I have had no chance to see a REAL one with naked eyes... |

Nigel Hi Nigel, It has been ages that I have not seen that lovely yellow wagon of yours nearby... To be more precise it is 2868...you see, I have rarely betrayed the old analog school... Cheers, mehmet Hi Mehmet, Yes, of course! I should have put 2868. I know you are a devoted lover of the analogue locos. And with good reason - they are great products. Best wishes, Nigel |

About the bogies you must have a lot better info than me...I have had no chance to see a REAL one with naked eyes... Well, I also never saw this LH Airport Express with a BR 103 in its colour in real life. But I followed a discussion at Stummis about this theme. It ended in the common sense that indeed the BR 103 from the LH Airport Express has not black but slight brown colour strips below the yellow strip and slght brown bogies. Märklin had made the digital model in the package #26680 after the original on. Whereas the PIKO LH Airport express loco has the wrong body colour. Instead of a light grey it is just white. The original loco see at these pictures. https://www.bahnbilder.d...kornwestheim-280393.htmlhttps://www.bahnbilder.d...tuttgart-hbf-190792.htmlBut the orange lights are still strange. I also have a E 03 (Märklin art #3053) analogue, but it does not have these orange lights at all. Anyway it is not important, it onyl looks a bit odd.

Hi TEEWolf, I am so happy that the guys in Stummis ended the issue in the common sense... But the slight brownish in the bogies may be the cause of brakes. Also the more the loco is used, the more brownish the bogies get. I am glad Mother M* has solved this with 26680... Please forgive for my illiteracy on Piko and its products... Thank you very much for the links that you have sent.... Last but not least about the orange lights: As you can see in the picture above Mä 3053.1 does have orange lights... as well as white lights... With my kind regards, mehmet ps: I do apologize for exceeding 5 picture per 1 item rule once again...(to moderators' attention) |

Hi Unholz, As I have never been in Switzerland, except a 6 hour of transit pass, I do have a great lack of information of the prototypes of Swiss Trains, so please forgive me. The sticker came out from a passenger car of BLS and I simply stuck it on the loco. Thank you for the explanation about the jubilee. How nice to be followed by sharp eyes. Hope not to make further prototypical mistakes in the future. But who cares, even if I do so. You correct me, don't you? Cheers, mehmet |
