Hi,
as I wrote here (https://www.marklin-users.net/forum/posts/t43028-Marklin-36350---Ue-499-SJ---Cabin-light-mod) I have a Swedish shunting loco with red Cabin Lights.

Does somebody know, if red Cabin Lights really exist?

Or should I better change the LEDs to warm-White ones?

Moritz

you may have to add another resistor and try 1 Led manually and see what colour it produces or re-visit your connections.

You mean the colour will change in other direction (changing polarity)?

Normally, the colour doesn't change with the voltage.

It´s not a cabin light.
The red lighting is for warning for shunting process in real (radio control).
If you want cab light you must change out the LED´s and rework inside of the cab.
Maybe a ESU LED lighting for the wagons will help?

Thanks,
so, it is wrong for the Ue 499 because the Ue has the red tailights on the front.

But for my Ub 709 it would be the correct one. Therefore, I will remove it from my Ue 499 and set up my Ub 709 with the red tailights.

Thanks,
Moritz
