Today, I occasionally found a series of videos from Youtube in relation to the assembly of the Orient Express sleeping car made by Amati which seems a model manufacturer from Italy. The car is made of different materials comprising brass used to construct body, chassis, bogies and little spare parts, wood and papers as the interiors and wallpapers of the compartments. The scale looks like 1 gauge with many highly detailed components and looks very awesome and gorgeous. Did anyone know or hear of AMATI ? ( from episode.1 ~ 17)

AMATI is a famous model shop in Turin, dealing mainly with other types of model rather than trains ( ships, etc. ) They also make kits and tools. I believe it's the oldest model manufacturer and shop in Italy, estabished in 1879. see AmatiThe CIWL sleeping car is in 1 scale. regards

Amati seems to dedicate to the naval models delicate and impressive which are difficult to the people unskillful on modeling to complete the masterpieces.
