I hope someone can help. The 24672 turnout is not responding electrically to command.

Do your run the turnout in analog or digital?
Please give us some more details about the setup and connections.

The trains run on commands of the Mobile Station and the lights in the buildings and on streets on the side of the railway and at the lanterned stops are geared with the 32volts transformer.

The 24671 turnout placed at the other end of the track, a two meters track by 1 meter, does respond to the command. All the other turnouts installed so far don´t bring problems. I will keep moving forward and let you know.

Before the end of the day I want to place one of the two Vieesmann semaphores I have from Boston but I do not remember clearly where to hook the five cables.

The turnouts and house lights and stops lanterns are activated by a 32 volts transformer while the current for the track is supplied by the Mobile Station. Is this explanation clear enough?
Let me know.
Remember I will be installing the Vieesmann semaphores but can´t recall how the five cables go.
Regards.

In analog.
There is no way to make 24672 respond to the commands box with green and red bottoms. The 24672 as the others work with the mechanism nevertheless in the case this turn out is not responding, all the other work properly.

Is it new or old? If you are sure the cables are properly connected the mechanism may have gone faulty and you need to replace it, I had a faulty one recently and it wasn't used that much.

The 24672 is the turnout itself. Are you using the marklin switch motor?
If you are using the markling switch motor and it did work for a while and then stopped, then the limit switches are fried. This has been a problem from Marklin and they have been slowly addressing this issue. The recent generation of switch motor seems to do fine.

This can be verified if you can switch the turnout electrically one direction but not the other.

There are several topics on this forum that describe the issue and have suggested fixes that have worked for me. Look around.

If however it has not worked from the get go, then either you have a wiring issue or something else. To verify wiring issue, take the motor out and using the track for power, verify its operation by touching the appropriate leads to the hot or ground parts of the track.

If you bought your switch motors from a dealer, they should replace it for you. If not, it may be worth prying open the motor to look for loose wire or to solder jumpers.

I have replaced those apparently faulty turnouts and will see if changing the mechanism with new item 74490 they work.

In digital. With Mobile Station. Theturnouts have to be operated manually as 4 of them do not respond to the command of the control box.
Regards.
