Joined: 30/08/2002(UTC) Posts: 1,208		I'm about to buy some insulated and non-insulated rail joiners for K tracks, and as I'm far away from a MR shop, I would appreciate your recommendation from experience of applicable brand? (and article N.o. if possible) Installing joiners that derail Märklin wheels would be a nightmare... I will need joiners for both flex and common K tracks. It would also be great if the non-insulated joiners are easy to solder on!

Joined: 16/05/2011(UTC) Posts: 1,475 Location: Lyon, France		Hello, For insulated rail joiners, use Peco SL-11. For normal rail joiners, Marklin ones are easy to solder. As you speak about flex track, I would thus recommend Marklin 7595 set. Cheers Fabrice

Don't bother with the SL-10, they are ill suited for K track (too flat) and a royal pain to install - I ended up using one and binning the rest. Use the rail joiners from the Marklin 7595 which are perfectly suited and you will need the 7595 anyway for joining flex track. The SL-11 work well but you do need to ensure they are lined up and pushed all the way in to avoid too big a gap.
