Neat new option. Do they have any pictures of the actual 3 conductor product that shows how the center conductor is handled? The computer renders shown here don't seem to be 3 conductor - they appear 2 conductor (DC/DCC) only. Of interest to me is also if I can use the same stands to test 3 conductor (Märklin) and 2 conductor (DCC) locos simply, as I can do with other rolling test stand solutions. |

The quality looks very good and the added functionality is nice. I have the Märklin rolling test stand so I am not in the market but I would find this is an interesting alternative if I were. |
Regards,
Jim
I have almost all Märklin and mostly HO, although I do have a small number of Z gauge trains!
So many trains and so little time. |

The appropriate name for this contraption is a roller test stand (Rollenpruefstand). Rolling Road is the English translation for Rollende Landstrasse (ROLA), the special cars used to make up consists to transport trucks and their trailers on rail lines, often found on mountain rail lines (Brenner, Gotthard, Loetschberg-Simplon, Mont Cenis, etc).

Mike C Rolling Road is also used for the test stand used when testing cars, where the drive wheels are put on a pair of rollers for testing engine tuning and the like.

I have a general question the (3-Rail, Marklin) Rolling Road w/Drive Wheel Cleaning Reference: RR-M-01 Is this product also set up to test regular 2 rail HO as well? . Can I use the aluminum test track and rollers provided to also test 2 rail HO or would I need to buy separate 2 rail HO rollers and can I purchase a separate 2 rail test track. So I can test both 2 and 3 rail I am browsing the PROSES web site and would be ordering from the USA. Over all I wish to use one Rolling Road to test to test both HO 3 rail and HO 2 rail models.
