You can download them from here:
https://www.maerklin.de/...undbibliothek-fuer-msd3/

or in the mDecoderTool you have the option to fetch the entire library in the application.

Now, the .wav files you will get are not usable outside the programming tool, the content is scrambled. One can imagine an ingenious use of the playback / record functions to get around this limitation ...

Cheers,

In addition to @costing here are further sounds available. But please be aware that these sounds are only applicable to the above mentioned decoder article numbers, as Märklin is stating.

https://www.maerklin.de/...-mldmsd/standard-sounds/

Please do a tick mark into the grey round button and you even can listen to the various sounds. But why these ones are only useable for mSD decoders, I do not know. Märklin writes

"The sounds do not match previously produced sound decoders from serial locomotives. Regardless of the sound used, the same firmware is used."

On the left side is a menu list. There you see the various availbale sounds. But they all shall be only for the mSD. Perhaps here in the community is somebody who has experience with these sound files for other decoders like the mSD/3. Unfortunately an English issue of this website by Märklin is not available.

The Märklin sound library is free and is pretty comprehensive, but AFAIK it only apples to mSD3 decoders, not that the OP actually asked that question. BigGrin

I have almost all Märklin and mostly HO, although I do have a small number of Z gauge trains!
So many trains and so little time.
