Finally I have a couple of 6699s on their way to me, no manuals or instructions but I am not sure if they are needed...?
Have I got the following right?
1) Keep anything digital far, far away from them.
2) They are wired via yellow and brown to any analogue Marklin transformer (blue metal/plastic or white) in the same way that one would attach an accessory?
3) They are connected to the track via red and brown in the usual way?
4) Normal accessories will run off them in the usual way (assuming sufficient power)?
5) If they are connected to a transformer that has its own speed controller I assume one can use both (on two separate tracks) again assuming sufficient power?
6) If one has one track powered via 6699 and another in the usual analogue way does anything bad happen when a loco crosses over the insulated join from one to the other (assuming polarity matched)?
7) Anything to worry about with catenary?
Of course they may not work...but one lives in hope!
Thanks in adavnce

Yes. Also keep models from the 3500 - 5-star series away. Also the 3371 ICE-Experimental should not be used. Maybe also other older models with DC-motors have problems (e.g. 0050, 3125 red arrow). I would not not try. Originally Posted by: Michael4

Nothing bad happens. Also the manual shows the combination. Originally Posted by: Michael4 7) Anything to worry about with catenary?
Nothing known. I attach the manual: ba-6699-68629-a-0679.pdf (607kb) downloaded 173 time(s).Regards Markus
