There are so many Xmas type threads at the moment it felt it was worth to start a new one JUST for what you found under the tree, pillow, in your stocking or otherwise. If you are like me, and your birthday falls on Xmas, or very close to it then you can be included. Each year my oldest daughter gets me the annual Xmas wagen, for many years it was late from the dealers, sometimes well into the following year but the last two or three it's been on time - awesome. She arrives on Wednesday so I won't get it until then and I always AVOID looking at any images of the current Xmas wagen so it's still a surprise for me :-) But I got a real surprise this morning when my oldest blended daughter (much nicer than 'step-daughter') presented me with a "Happy Birthday" Wagen. This is a real nice and attractive package, a suitably worded flat wagon, a die-cast Beach Buggy (we all play 'punch-buggy' and "mini-tag' in this family, who else knows what that is?) The Beach Buggy is from Schuco, die-case and surprisingly heavy, it has a tiny "Happy Birthday" across the bonnet. Also included is a Simba-Dickie bag of numbers, two of each for any age up to 99. The Buggy and numbers sit into a frame within the wagen. These appear to be laser-cut. It's only fair to pair it with a previous Xmas Loco..... |

No Märklin for me this year under the tree. I’m getting a watch winder. Don’t feel sorry for Dave, however. Christmas came a week earlier with SNCF 241A, V140, BR 75 and the Unbauwagens all arriving last week. |

I'm getting a pair of bathers, 1 box of liquor chocolate and there may be more to come this afternoon and tomorrow. the only thing I found under the tree is plums half eaten by birds. this afternoon: more bathers, shorts and a shirt, my wife always complains I'm running around the garden half naked more presents tomorrow, wishful thinking Edited by user 25 December 2017 14:35:19(UTC)

My 39460 was shipped on the 18th. According to Canada Post, it has arrived in Montreal and should be at my door on the 27th, so not exactly a Christmas present, but still pretty close.
Regards

Strangely, Beer cars have just never taken my fancy, but I can certainly appreciate the attraction, and of course once you start.... well where does it end. |

My darling FA always asks me what I would like for Christmas, and so we have this arrangement - I but it, wrap it and she gets the surprise. If I don't do this then it's nothing. This year she "gave" me a new CS3+ |
Take it easy . . . . or any other way you can get it !!!!
