Hello If you use the CS/2 how will the new boosters work if you want to three. I run the CS 1 and I have three boosters one for each level with it's own trans and I use the red for each section. I am using C track and LDT boosters. |

You mean 60213 with more that one 60173 boosters?
Yes, it can use more that 60173 but you need the 60125 Terminals.
The 60173 on Marklin database said 'Several Boosters can be used in a system by means of 60125 Terminals'. |

I need some help as I have just got my CS2 with 2 60173 boosters it has only taken 4 days to come it looks very nice. The question is how do I isolate the outer rails an the inner. In the past I have used the small red things that I push on the two joining rails is this still ok or do I have to cut the track as you go if you are using a level crossing. I am sorry if this has been talked about before but I do not under stand some of the threads. As you might have gathered from this anything elec is not my best thing. |

Hello Perz. I am sorry I do not under stand. If I do it the same as per the instructions that come with the red insulators it will be wrong won't it. Common ground means nothing to me. Please could you explain. |

Hello Charles,
to connect more than one booster 60173 tzo the CS2 you need to buy a terminal 60125. Yes, you have to isolate center studs and outer rails for the ground. You can do it as you have done it for the center studs, just isolate the other pins too.
kind regards
Stephan
